Dear gwfinley, I have just finished reading your article on Blood Covenant Christianity. I am blown away. I have been a pastor and a Christian for over 4 decades, but have never seen such a wonderful, precise, written work on understanding what Christianity is all about. Our part in it as "the bride" explains our responsibility, as well as God's. Thank you so much for this information. It must not have been easy for you to come by it. Are you a pastor? How did you do this? Did it take a lifetime? I just found your website and so far am loving it. It will keep me busy for
some time.
I came out of the "new age" movement whose deceptions aren't really that
"new". When God saved me, I wanted a person that could be my mentor
and helper, but I could not. The Spirit of God made it clear to
me I should rely only on Him and that the Holy Spirit would be my teacher.
Early on people were talking about the pre-trib rapture, but when
I searched it out, I kept seeing the problems that it brought up
over and over. My heart sings with joy in finding a website such as
yours that tells me I am not alone, as I thought very few,

I just have to tell you how much I enjoy "Endtime Pilgrim". I have been reading it for about 1 year. What a witness I get! I was a pre-tribber for about 15 years and could never fit all the pieces of the puzzle together. Finally I read a book by Marvin Rosenthal entitled "Pre-wrath Rapture." That was the start of "the big revelation." Since coming to a pre-wrath or post-trib view it has been very difficult to find "men of like faith." I feel like I am quite alone. I noticed that it is in contrast with Tim Warner's thoughts that the 144,000 in Rev. 14 is a different group from those in Rev. 7 in that they are a "first fruits" 144,000 from the first century Christians. The first 12 years of my walk with our LORD were spent believing in a pre-tribulation rapture. In fact, Hal Lindsay's book, Late Great Planet Earth, was God's instrument to draw me to Himself. Of those first 12 years, 9 were invested at a Bible college and Dallas Theological Seminary. However, during the last 5 years, I began to re-think and re-evaluate what I was taught by those schools. Via independent study and prayer, I concluded that traditional and revised dispensationalism and a pre-trib rapture were NOT taught in the Holy Scriptures. During the last couple of weeks, I decided to search for others of this same persuasion. May the LORD use your site to warn His Church so that we don't bring shame at His glorious appearing! |

I believe we, the present day saints, suffer from the same "time blinded" constraints that the old testaments saints, the prophets, suffered from, in that they were, to a large extent, unable to see past the first advent of Christ. This also explains why the disciples of Christ were so perplexed when they did not see him assuming power over the Roman government. This article was much appreciated. |
