2016: Obama's America by Dinesh D'Souza. - Trailer
THE MILD NATIONALISTIC ANTI-COLONIALISM.
AND THE MORE VIRULENT RAGING MALIGNANT FORM.
BOTH OF THEM ARE SEEN IN OBAMA"S FAMILY.
Dinesh D'Souza's book, "The Roots of Obama's Rage" came out in 2010.
He introduced the subject of anti-colonialism. At that time I wrote the article
The DEEPER Roots of Raging Anti-Colonialism
In 2012 the movie, "2016: Obama's America" has come out.
This includes an interview of Obama's brother who like Obama's Indonesian step-father
does NOT have the same raging form of anti-colonialism his brother, (the President),
has or that of Obama's mother, his Kenyan father,
or his maternal grandfather. Recently I wrote the article
2016: The DEEPER Roots of Obama's Raging Anti-Colonialism
The book
The Roots of Obama's Rage by Dinesh D'Souza sent
shockwaves across the political landscape
in the fall of 2010. The mild form of anti-colonialism is exemplified in the life of Obama's Indonesian step-father.
The more virulent, malignant, raging form of anti-colonialism is seen in Obama's Kenyan father,
his mother, and his maternal grandfather.
When we study the anti-colonialism in the lives of Obama's family we discover that there are
in fact two forms of anti-colonialism. There is the mild nationalistic, "Get
out of my land and my nation, and do not exploit my people!" type.
People with this mild form of anti-colonialism generally get over it.
This is exemplified in Obama's Indonesian step-father. He is the smiling man in the photo above.
Then there is
the more deadly, virulent, malignant, raging form of anti-colonialism. These people are
forever angry with the West. They are tormented with a deep fear and loathing of something, (or
Someone), in the West who terrifies them in a very deep way.
COLONIALISM AND THE BRITISH EMPIRE
The stories of the British Empire are legion. Many
are its stories of adventure and heroism.
In the former era of the British Empire the British Boys Omnibus
gave vivid accounts of battles fought with foreign nationals such as the Dervishes and the Zulus.
British soldiers who had shown feats of great bravery won the Victoria Cross
the epitome of British nationalistic glory. Men
like Gordon of Kartoum became the stuff of legend. This was the man who as a student of the Bible
had discovered the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem.
were well known to me. British colonial glory was showcased in such films as "Zulu Dawn" and "Kartoum".
There was, however, a seamier side to Empire building.
During the Boer War Lord Kitchener set up concentration camps in the Transvaal for women and children.
Thousands died. The film "Ghandi" showed scenes of British soldiers
firing on unarmed protesters. Such accounts dampen the glory somewhat.
ANTI-COLONIALISM, ANTI-IMPERIALISM, AND ANTI-AMERICANISM.
ALL OF THESE HAVE THEIR MILD AND THEIR RAGING FORMS.
American's have a hard time relating to anti-colonialism. But we must remember
that Cecil Rhodes persisted in his dream of a world under an Anglo-American dominion,
and a world of English speaking people. Hence the Rhode's scholarships.
Indeed, the baton has been passed on to the Americans.
World War 2 and Lend-Lease saw
British gold and cross the Atlantic to America. The dropping
of the atom bombs on Japan and the Bretton Woods agreement saw the superpower move from
the Pax Brittannia to the Pax Americana. Have the Americans experienced
anything like anti-colonialism?
Apparently so. "The Ugly American" was a book that came out in the mid 20th Century.
In recent years Anthony Perkins book,
"Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" was published.
When we see his YouTube videos or hear an audio
of his story we can readily see that anti-Americanism is very much carried over
from the earlier anti-colonialism seen during the former British Empire. Yes, the
Brits and the Americans exploited the native cultures to varying degrees, even
as we were blessing them in many ways. We gave them our know-how and we built
them such infrastructure as buildings, roads, railways, and bridges. We left
them behind when we left, along with an ability to create wealth and enjoy much new trade.
But, as we might
well expect, there was a national uprising against us a we "stooped to conquer".
This is what we could call mild or nationalistic anti-colonialism. We see it in
Obama's Indonesian step-father. He is the smiling happy man in the family photo.
This is the man who as a radical fought against the Dutch colonial powers.
He lost his family during those unhappy times. But he was different from Obama's Kenyan father and Obama's mother.
He ceased from his radical militant anti-colonialism when the war with the Dutch
ended. He went to work for an American oil company. This is where the story becomes very interesting.
Obama's mother raged at him for this and divorced him.
WE CAN SEE BOTH FORMS OF ANTI-COLONIALISM
THE MILD FORM AND THE RAGING MALIGNANT FORM
DEMONSTRATED AMONG OBAMA'S FAMILY MEMBERS.
Oh yes, there is a more malignant form of anti-colonialism. It stays with
nationals even after wars end. Europeans can have it, as we saw with Obama's
mother and maternal grandfather. And short of a miracle intervention by God such
people take their rage with them to the grave. We see this raging
anti-colonialism in Obama's mother, his maternal grandfather, and his Kenyan
father, (a man who deserted Obama's mother for other women). The amazing, yet
revealing, fact is that this Kenyan Mau-Mau radical, a philanderer, and a man
who deserted her, remained the object of her love throughout her life. He was
eventually killed in a motor-car accident.
The story of what happened in Indonesia between Obama's mother and his
Indonesian stepfather after the war ended is truly fascinating. He was the
second radical she had sought out and married. But at war's end Obama's
Indonesian step-father put down his arms and ceased from being a radical. His
hatred of the West ended. He went to work for an American oil company. When that
happened Obama's mother went ballistic. Why are you deserting "the cause" was
her question? His response? "Why are you angry? These are YOUR (white
European), people, are they not? At this Obama's mother screamed back. "These
are NOT my people!!!
Pretty wild, eh? Yes, very much so. In the following article we go down beneath politics
and into the spiritual arena to search out the true root of this raging virulent
form of anti-colonialism. Please feel free to copy, print, or link this article
and share it with others in any way you like. This story is too revealing to be kept hidden.
