In this article we shall be looking at the watch. The calling of the watchmen as we see them in Holy Scripture is very important. All of God’s Ekklesia are called to “watch and pray.” So, a good case could be made that every person in the family of the redeemed are to take on the responsibility as a watchman. As the saying goes, “If you see something, then say something.” We’ll consider how this exhortation relates to recent unprecedented events that unfolded this past September of 2025 during the Feast of Trumpets or Yom Teruah. This looked to be another strange Sherlock Holmesian case of “the dog that did not bark”, that being the silence of the watchmen.

These pivotal events in world history do not happen very often. But when they do, everything we had previously assumed to be the prevailing truth is brought into question. Our heart and mind grapple with the new reality. The human soul cherishes their comfortable belief in the perpetuity of the status quo. So, the acceptance of new unfolding realities can be problematic. This is where the well-known psychological adaptation called “cognitive dissonance” comes into play. When Bible prophecy impinges upon significant unfolding events, (let’s say resolutions in the UN), we often refuse to face the facts. We balk at the obvious even though the truth of the matter is right there in front of our eyes. We think through the veil of our emotional state. If in our hearts we do not want to believe what we are seeing, then we solve the problem quickly. We refuse to believe it.

Newsmen, politicians, and church leaders go along with the masses in their denials of emerging truths. Whether wittingly or unwittingly they become part of the stealth operation or a party to the smokescreen that covers it. So, in the milieu of Mystery Babylon we often do not get to the root cause or the basic truth of the matter. We end up being fed the usual mundane and distractive lines of political and religious chatter. Meanwhile, emerging history slips by un-noticed, and the real story remains untold. The cedars of Lebanon may have been falling in the forest. But if no one reported it then what are we to believe? Did this really happen?

As world history enters the precincts of unfolding Bible prophecy events cannot help but become quite political. That is a given. We also have the Constantinian Accord of “God and secular king” running out of its 1700-year shelf-life. Mystery Babylon, and a newly emerging “global governance” are coming into play very fast now, and in very telling ways. Some of these newly opening stories are “sensitive”, even fearful. So, for many Bible prophecy teachers it is natural to shy away from these. When uncomfortable questions arise, even our best Bible based teachers disappoint us. They often find it expedient to slip into a hard-line censoring mode of official denial. And that is where the conversation ends.

Yes, that is where we are in holy history. Deflection and obfuscation are the order of the day. The trolls are at the bridges of the “seven bridges road”. The Feast of Trumpets is the fifth of the seven moedim, or seven divine appointments. This divine appointment was out there awaiting fulfillment. Did we see it this past September 22-23? That is the burning bush question. We could either approach it to investigate the matter further. Or we could skirt around the issue and avoid talking about it.

Biblical conversations that address the emerging end-time story are coming at us in the news almost daily now. But all too often many church leaders and Bible prophecy buffs continue in their mode of command-and-control. They step in to shut down any discussion of any emerging issues that could become controversial. Their main purpose seems to be to keep things “lite”, to avoid controversy, and to prevent the division that is problematic for the church growth business model.

One glaring example is the present-day emergence of the Harlot system of Revelation 17-18. We see the rise of a morally compromised LGBTQ+ multi-faith, new age religion, and the “Coexist” movement. All of this fits the Mystery Babylon that John saw and described for us. The rule of this end-time Harlot regime, even as she seeks to control and hold back the emergence in power of the ten-horned beast, needs to be mapped out biblically. Her time in power needs to be placed somewhere on the timeline of the 70^th Week. A clear-eyed view of the emerging world system sees a Harlot regime of compromise and fleshly comfort trying to ride the beast as John saw, or trying to ride the bull as did Europa in Greek mythology. The only place in which Mystery Babylon has room to play is in the first 3.5 years of the 70^th Week of Daniel. The midpoint AOD will then usher in the latter half as the Great Tribulation and the beast-phase 666 Antichrist. The AOD will bring in his reign, the trampling of Jerusalem, the exile of the woman of Revelation 12, and the ministry of the two witnesses. These are all tagged in the seven key verses. The very same time here is given to us in three different units of time, those being 3.5 years, 42 months, or 1260 days.

If we are responsible or interested, we will sit down with pencil and paper and reconcile these mathematically. These times are being issued to us from the throne of God. From Revelation 12:6 and 12:14 we see that the 1260 days and 3.5 years are all reconciled based upon a 360-degree circle. Similarly, 42 months and 1260 days are based upon 30-day months and the 12 x 30-degree segments in a 360-degree circle. In the Seventy Weeks Prophecy God is issuing us time based upon an ideal Hebrew calendar of 360-day years. Such a calendar does not exist here on earth. Nor has such a calendar ever been documented to have been in use, even going back to ancient times. If we cannot accept the way God issues time to us for the Seventy Weeks prophecy, then we have no sure roadmap or timeline of the final 7 years. So, we remain in limbo.

Even as we view the extraordinary event happening this past Feast of Trumpets, we also take special note of the rapid moral declension in the West. We see clear evidence of a failing 1700-year-old Constantinian Accord of “God and king” or “God and Country”. We have enjoyed 80 years of the Pax Americana since 1945 dating back to the end of World War 2. But now that is looking quite tenuous. We also see the two-days spoken of in Hosea 6:2 which we can view as 2,000 years. The last prophetic words were given to us in the Olivet Discourse in the Passion Year of 32 A.D. So, to fulfill the prophecy of the two-days or two thousand years from 32 A.D. we again arrive at a terminus date of 2032 A.D.

We also see indifference to Bible prophecy, compromise, confusion, and cowering. Like most people, we often respond to discomforting events on the carnal side of our human nature. It seems that no one is willing to discuss the emerging reality of Mystery Babylon, and where she is leading us. The Christian faith is a call to commitment. This plays into the spiritual dimension and the inner conflict of “fear vs. faith”. Beyond the information war over “the facts of the matter” there is the issue of what the emerging realities mean to us. This can very quickly become an emotionally charged issue calling for an awakening and perhaps a season of repentance. Should that prove not to be forthcoming then the only recourse for the masses is to continue down the road they were headed. That road leading away from the truth will only lead to more denial of the facts and more angst.

These are the games that we as people play. The conflicts that arise inside the human soul are very real. And as we enter the latter days the end-time drama will of necessity call for a re-evaluation of our priorities. The call will be to a newly realized allegiance, a gathering to a different banner, even a new devotion to another kingdom. This, of course, is “over the top” right now for the average person in the street. But down the road? Perhaps not so much.

Then too, in times of transition people can, and often do, exhibit a certain strange lack of curiosity. They find it expedient to shy away from the burning bush issue, skirt around it, and go on their merry way. The sentinel event may unfold right in front of us. Do we speak of it? Or not? In many cases the answer is “no”. So, as the song goes, we do not “speak of things that matter”, nor “of words that must be said”. Instead, we continue in the “sounds of silence”.

There is often a certain denial of unfolding realities. People are often heard to say, “I can’t believe this is happening”. So, they don’t. History brings us many examples of this. One classic example of this came after World War 2 was declared. The “phony war” lasted eight months. It was a time when there was little major engagement of land armies on the Western Front. Everything seemed normal. People struggled to believe that their country was now really at war. In their minds they “normalized” the matter, continuing their lives as usual, often not caring to speak of the war.

So, here we are. Something strange happened this past September of 2025. On September 12^th, 142 nations of the UN, including the leading nations of Western Christendom, approved the “New York Declaration”. This resolution was a vote to approve a “two state solution”. This was more of an issue of concern than most realize. A large cohort of the nations of the world were giving their authority to a corporate non-Christian UN entity to divide the Land of Israel into two states. Nothing like this had been done since the dividing and apportioning of the Land of Israel by Joshua, under the God of Israel nearly three and a half millennia ago.

So, with the New York Declaration general agreement had been reached by UN leadership and the rank and file, to divide the land of Israel for a “two state solution”. But there was a problem. Palestine was not a state. So, the next very necessary step for viable land apportionment to a Palestinian entity was to legally establish a “State of Palestine”. The UN could not parcel out part of the Holy Land to a questionable Palestinian mobbing cohort with no legitimate status as a nation. A Palestine that might be construed as a non-nation, or worse, a political puppet entity harboring within it a destructive or murderous mob of people would be unacceptable. It could have no place at the table for land apportioning. So, a UN resolution to recognize and sanctify a “State of Palestine” was sought to justify its legal status. This documentation was necessary before “Palestine” could be given its land allotment.

The next event to occur was on September 21, that being the Autumn Equinox. This threshold between seasons has marked a time of celebration by pagan conclaves going back to ancient times. This was also a time in which human sacrifices were performed. On that day the UK, Australia, Canada and France, led the way. They were not just giving the green light to a “two-state solution”. They were taking matters a step further. They were announcing that they, as nations, were leading the way into the 80^th Session of the UN General Assembly that was to begin the next day. They were recognizing a “State of Palestine.

The following day, September 22 on the eve of the Feast of Trumpets came the scheduled start day of the High-Level Week of the 80^th session of the UN General Assembly. On that day came the scheduled Palestine Peace Conference. The voting began and extended onto the next day, September 23, which happened to be the Feast of Trumpets.

So, that was precisely what happened at the UN on Israel’s “solemn feast day. A “State of Palestine” was being declared when no such entity existed. Never had a “Nation of Palestine” ever existed. This proclamation of Palestine as a bone-fide state set in motion a progressive and growing international legal framework. The aim was to set boundary markers and apportion the Land of Israel as the leading powers over this world wished. All this was set to be executed progressively under an expanding “global governance”. This was to become a power that started out small but grew out of itself to advance in global power during the ensuing months and years.

This was a sentinel event to be sure. Western Christendom was conferring and handing over-ruling authority to supra-national global entities, that were yet to be fully revealed in their true spirit and character. That event in the 80^th session of the UNGA occurred on a highly auspicious Holy Day. It fell exactly and precisely into the start day for the 70^th Week of Daniel.

Here is the all-important truth for us to take special notice. The God of Israel has set this time for His high holy purpose. This Holy Time of the Seventy Weeks Prophecy belongs to Him, and not to any earthly human ruling authority. He is sovereign over the events that unfolded in His 70^th Week, the final 7 years of this age. So, if we imagine that this catches Him unawares and that He has no plan in all this then that would be a serious miscalculation.

The extraordinary event, occurring on Yom Teruah, or the Feast of Trumpets in 2025, had all the hallmarks of a dark-moon stealth operation. What happened there in New York at the UN General Assembly was under-reported by the mainstream media. And since Christian people do not have a unified and trusted leadership and no official watchmen, we too hardly noticed. Even now, three months later, it is hard for our mind to wrap itself around what just happened. The whole experience seems surreal.

Yes, the powers of darkness by necessity had to make their move on the chessboard on the Holy Day, right on the Feast of Trumpets in direct opposition to God’s opening day for the 70^th Week. This was day #1 for the final seven years of this age. This placement of earthly events upon Holy Days is not unusual. This is the pattern we often see. We saw it happened with the Yom Kippur War with the surprise attack on that High Holy Day. We saw it at the Papal address of the Joint Houses of the U.S. Congress right on the true date of Yom Kippur in 2015. These obfuscations of Holy Days happen quite frequently.

The human dealmaker, the covenant strengthener, or the one who confirms the "covenant with many" does not make it FOR seven years. Nobody makes a covenant for a discreet number of years, let alone seven years. We never saw any such language in the Oslo Accords or Camp David Accords. The angelic rulers simply planned their less-than-holy affairs here on earth to coincide with Holy Time. The Holy One of Israel, the sovereign ruler over the Heavenly Court of Psalm 82, was the One who set-apart this time. And when we discover the timeline of the Seventy Jubilees in Jeremiah 25:12 and the Seventy Weeks Prophecy in Daniel 9:24 we soon come to realize that “the God who is there”, has set forth the fulfillments of all His Holy Days long ago. As we consider the possibility that this past Feast of Trumpets fired the starting gun for the final 7 years of this age the inevitable question now arises.

There is a newly emerging body of evidence that the Seventy Jubilees end on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement in 2032. For this we need to open an entirely new conversation, which we do not have time to flesh out here. But a few bullet points will suffice.

1.      There are two divinely ordained apportionings of the land of Israel.

2.      The first apportioning was under Joshua, and we can discover when that year was.

3.      In 2 Chronicles 3:2 we read that Solomon began building the Temple in his fourth year which was 967 B.C. three years after he began his reign in 970 B.C. We are told that this was in the 380^th year since the Exodus which puts the Exodus in 379 years earlier at 1446 B.C.

4.      The time between the Exodus and the arrival at Sinai was three months and they were there a year learning the ways of God in the Levitical teachings and the Tabernacle. The following year they arrived at Kadesh-Barnea and the Rebellion occurred in the time of the grape harvest which was two years after the 1446 exodus putting the spy report at Kadesh-Barnea at 1444 B.C.

5.      In Joshua chapter 14 we hear the appeal of Caleb to Moses where Caleb gives his age at Kadesh-Barnea as 40 and his age at the apportioning there as 85. We can therefore ascertain that the apportionment under Joshua came 45 years after the 1444 rebellion at Kadesh-Barnea to fix the year of the apportioning as 1399 B.C.

6.      The final apportionment will be by Messiah at the end of the age. This must mark the terminus of a very long timeline, and the Seventy Jubilees looks to be a biblically verifiable auspicious timeline locking in the number of years without any question.

7.      Leviticus 25:12 speaks of Seventy “times” which can be years, for the 70 or 10 x 7 years of the 70-year captivity of Judah. Then we have Seventy Weeks Prophecy or

8.      10 x 7 x 7 = 490 years. Then we have “seventy-times” as Seventy Jubilees which are 10 x 7 x 7 x 7 or 3430 years. Here we see logarithmic progression.

9.      The Seventy Jubilees relate to the land of Israel, and its harvest years. They present us with an auspicious but long-reaching timeline, the third of a logarithmic progression based upon the number 7 giving us a very long-reaching but very precise and biblically certifiable number of 3430 solar years spanning the two divinely ordained apportioning's of Israel.

10.  All three of these timelines expressed to us as “seventy times” are valid interpretations of Jeremiah 25:12. As we lay out the 3430-year timeline from 1399 B.C. we remember that there is no year zero. So, 1399 B.C. can be expressed as minus 1398 A.D.

11.  The subtraction is therefore 3430 – 1398 A.D. = 2032 A.D.

12.  This is in perfect agreement with a seven-year span of

1260 + 1290 = 2,550 days, an inclusive bridging span from September 23, 2025 to September 15 of 2032. These dates are based upon conjunction as ascertained from the NASA moon-phase data at https://astropixels.com/ephemeris/phasescat/phases2001.htm

They are also in full agreement with the official Jewish Calendar.

As we survey Daniel 9:27 from the Hebrew text we discover another vital clue here. The word "for" is not to be found in the Hebrew manuscripts. It was inserted by our translators based upon what they surmised the verse should say. Paraphrase can be very wonderful. However, here is a case where the literal text should have been examined carefully and followed instead of adding words and launching out into what could be a loose translation that misses the mark.

Men do confirm or strengthen existing covenants, and we saw this last September 22-23. But the seven-year time window into which the UN resolution occurred was not given any mention in the resolution. Nor should we have expected it to have been included. But the powers that be certainly did lay out their timetable to start their UNGA proceedings precisely on the timetable of the God of Israel. That should be of interest to us. The seven-year timeline has been set forth long ago by God Almighty, not by man.

Men can talk of their Great Reset, and they do. But the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets is God's Great Reset, in the first instance, not by men. Men just match the moves God makes on His chessboard. They are forced to do this. They must compete toe to toe, move to move, with God. The powers that be are not sovereign over the unfolding time we see opening here below. In making this move they merely placed their UN resolution in the "divinely appointed time" that God had previously set. They simply had to match God’s move on that day. They had no other choice. It was an obfuscation by the powers of darkness, and up to this point, a successful one.

Similarly, as we view history, we never see peace deals made for a discrete number of years. Human planners do not "determine" or "set apart" a seven-year period for a covenant. God is the One who does that. He alone is sovereign in holy history. God is the One who sets the times and seasons. He has set the date for the Great Reset, and Day #1 for the final seven years of this age, not man. Men and the angels of the rebellion, (who are still sitting on God’s heavenly court), just follow on. They make their moves on God's set time, cloaking the holy with the profane, as they must.

Our Messiah is at the center of the unfolding world history. He sets the dates for the fulfillments of the Fall Feasts according to His divine purpose. He is the scheduler of the moedim, (the Feast Days, the Holidays, the divine appointments, the set times). He lays out the agenda and the choreography for the 70th Week, and the final seven years of the age. This is all part of the final outworking of the Seventy Weeks Prophecy.

Let us entertain the idea that Daniel 9:27 began this past September 23 of 2025. Do we have to assume that there would have been general recognition of the event across Christendom when it was happening? No. Because if this event in holy history came on us by stealth, an intrusion into world history, then we could well imagine that like many other thresholds of history it arrived as a black swan event.

As the story goes, nobody believes that a black swan exists. We might have heard it spoken about or seen it through a mirror darkly. But even then, we do not believe what we are seeing. Then after some time passes the fog lifts off the pond, and the facts of the matter become clear. Then at some point a wave of realization sweeps across the populace. The emerging new reality simply cannot be denied.

As Christian believers we should expect that we have among us people with some level of spiritual gifting by discernment of spirits, word of knowledge, and word of wisdom. When people turn to God they enter His fellowship. He brings spiritual awareness. They see things others do not see, and “think outside the box”. This is not their doing. But as they walk with God they are being spiritually guided. They are also alerted to see the biblical perspective on unfolding events. Oftentimes the realizations come as epiphanies. Suddenly, the moment arrives. Then it is "Eureka, I see it!"

So, this past Yom Teruah, Feast of Trumpets, we, as biblically based Christians did “see something”. We did indeed see a “covenant with many”. We knew that Daniel 9:27 must happen at some time.  But we always considered it to be “up there in the future somewhere”. In our own mind we had never thought it would happen in our lifetime. The very idea seemed quite impossible. We just couldn’t believe it was happening.

Some might be charitable and say that for Bible believing Christians it was somewhat expected and therefore it was a grey swan event. But for most of us it came upon us suddenly and without warning. And so, it was indeed a black swan event. Even now, three months later as this article is being written, what happened this past Feast of Trumpets is still not being recognized. The penny has not yet dropped in the viewing telescope.

Christian observers simply did not believe that such a thing was possible. So, we didn’t. We just denied what we just saw. Then we moved on. For the most part we still don’t. The realization will come later, along with the chatter from people who will say that they saw it coming. They will protest that they, at least, were not blindsided.

But there it was. This past September 22-23 of 2025 the black swan flew in. And there, right under the black moon of Tishri, 157 nations consented to proclaim this highly questionable Palestinian entity as the sovereign “State of Palestine”.

The nations of the West did this, knowing full-well its fierce reputation. They were empowering this highly suspicious Palestinian entity and giving it legitimate standing, as well as giving their authority to the UN. A mobbing cohort of nations egressing from the expiring Constantinian Accord of “God and country” were authorizing and giving the secular UN central planners the political and legal clout to do whatever they wished.

There was no “State of Palestine” at the time. Nor had there ever been a “State of Palestine”. But this was an international vote of affirmation. Who could argue against that? And now, in the manner of “Star Trek” under the “United Federation of Planets”, the UN General Assembly was forging ahead with their “Pact for the Future”. The plan was to bring in their two-state solution, recognize and legitimize, a “State of Palestine”, and empower the UN to become a growing global power. Now the authority to press-on had been gained, and “Starfleet Command”, was going to “make it so”. They were going to declare a “State of Palestine” to be real when it was not. Then they were set to use that global consensus of nations as a basis for their new authority to bring in a “two-state-solution” and divide the Holy Land as they saw fit.

And who gave them that authority? We, in what was once Western Christendom, did!

The voting was completed on September 23,
right on Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets.

So then, the question can be asked.
Where were the watchmen?
