Running the final leg of the relay race of the saints

Paradise Road
- a  poem  of  the  End-Time.

A relay race!
The
final leg is just about to start.
The epic journey comes toward the end.

Through the mist the pathway narrows,
And then plunges down the hill
Into a dark and awesome
valley of decision.

Then out from Achor comes
the Remnant
On the Paradise Road.
That holy highway goes up through the clouds.

And then at last, the vision splendid!
Bursting out from Bozrah's fold,
Comes
the Breaker, with His flock,
They've broken through!

So when
the trumpet sounds the warning,
From Zion's holy hill,
You will remember those long lost ancient paths.

And
all the saints who ran before you
Will be calling out
your name.
And passing the baton on to
you!

. . . . . . . . . Will you run?

A devotional and exhortational poem
by Gavin Finley - endtimepilgrim.org - 2001

Some of the ideas for this poem came when I saw the films
'Chariots of Fire' and 'Paradise Road' and connected them
with the message our Apostle Paul gives us in Hebrews 11-12:1.
