The Harvest at the End of the Age.
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares was a prophecy of the end-time harvest taught by Jesus. As incredible as it may seem, certain people, the redeemed seed of Abraham, and the seed of the devil, will be gathered off the face of this earth by their respective angelic hosts in the coming awesome Day of the Lord.
Matthew 13
24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,
“First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them,
but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

We must take special note of the sequence of events here. Jesus said that the tares, (the followers of the wicked one), would be plucked up first. See Mat. 13:30. The harvest of the wheat, the Good Seed, sowed by the Son of Man, will then follow. The tares will be plucked up first, then the children of the Kingdom, will go up in (the Resurrection-Rapture). See 1Thes. 4:15,16,17.
Later, and somewhat taken aback by the implications of what Jesus was saying, the disciples came to Jesus asking for Him to explain the parable. Here is what He said.
The Parable of the Sower Explained
18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:
19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Isaiah 26
19 Your dead shall live;
Together with my dead body they shall arise.
Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust;
For your dew is like the dew of herbs,
And the earth shall cast out the dead.

Does this mean that the righteous, (the wheat in the parable), will actually see the wicked, as tares, being plucked up, and carried off kicking and screaming by the grim reapers? Will the redeemed see and hear the alien abductions going on by those evil alien angels of wrath? Will the righteous "see the reward of the wicked" as spoken of in Psalm 91:7,8?
Apparently so. See verse 8.
The Safety of Abiding in
the Presence of God
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Psalm 91
8 "Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked."
This is a very sobering message.
And the instruction given here, especially for those caring for children, would be to go into your chambers and shut the doors. It would be best if tender souls were not witness to these awful scenes as this sad end-time history of the wicked unfolds.
Take Refuge from the Coming Judgment

To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
The earth will also disclose her blood,
And will no more cover her slain. And since the reward of the wicked is an execution of that preceding legal matter, the epic Day of Atonement, Day of Reckoning, Day of Covering, the Day of Sentencing, Day of Pardoning, the Last Day Judgment we must conclude that this two-fold harvest of the tares and the wheat, the plucking up of wicked and the gathering of those judged as righteous will occur at the very end of this age.
