Summary:
In this article we explore the reasons why many who call themselves Christians are turning against Israel and the Jewish people. Is this judgment somewhat hypocritical given the similar moral failings in Western Christendom? If we come to understand that the God of Israel is far from finished with us and them then perhaps we can withhold our judgment. Ezekiel's vision of the dry bones prophesies a progressive stepwise restoration of All Israel, a bigger story than we have been told. So, perhaps we can exercise patience with the current political and carnal State of Israel, given that it is yet to experience the promised spiritual awakening. This article will trace the historical schism between the Jewish House of Judah and the lost ten tribes (often associated with Ephraim in the Western nations). Perhaps Christians in the West will come to recognize their own entanglement in global conspiracies and deadly false flag operations. The 1967 attack on the USS Liberty is a very telling example of shared moral compromise between the U.S. and Israel. Given our past histories we need to be cautious lest our criticism of Israel gets blown into antisemitism. The scriptures prophesy a future reconciliation of the two houses and a full restoration of "All Israel"—a unified "royal priesthood and holy nation". This is the true biblical Zionism of the evangelical awakenings and it will bring with it the promised reconciliation between the two houses. This restoration will not come through military or political Zionism. It will only be achieved through spiritual revival. The Latter Rain Holy Spirit outpouring is prophesied by Joel to come to a glorious climax towards the end of the age.
Of late it seems that there has been an increasing drumbeat against the nation of Israel, especially since the Gaza war. Israel is trying to defend itself from cross border attacks coming from the Gaza and the West Bank. Very often Israel is forced to evacuate their own citizens living close to the borders.
There is a certain unsavory side to the actions of national Israel now, as they seek to defend themselves against a virulent enemy living close to them as neighbors. In recent times many voices are being raised in Western Christendom, pointing the finger of blame at national Israel and the Jewish house. Even as they presume to stand in judgment against Israel mobs of them take to the streets waving the Palestinian flag, favoring those who commit acts of terrorism. Many Christians of late are asserting that the Jewish people are engaging in genocide, even that they are the "Synagogue of Satan".
This short treatise is intended to show that this is not only untrue but wrongheaded and hypocritical on our part. As citizens in the nations of Western Christendom we are as much a party to sinister goings on as they are.
So let's look in the mirror here. What do we see? We in the blood-bought evangelical House of Christianity in Western Christendom ought to see that we live and walk out our lives under the same God of Israel. We can enjoy the privilege of being the spiritual children of Abraham. But for most of us we still remain in partial blindness to our citizenship in Israel. We read Ephesians 2:12-13 but we are nor "seeing" what God is telling us there. We are eager to point to our Jewish friends and declare that they are blind to their Messiah in His first coming as the Sacrifice Lamb. But we cannot see that through the blood of Messiah we are "no longer strangers" to the covenants of promise but we are fellow-citizens with the saints of Israel in the Commonwealth of Israel.
We downplay our allegiance to the Messiah in His royal office in the Kingdom of God. as He is seated upon the Throne of David. We still give preference to our secular kings and rulers. So, in our collusion with the princes and merchants of this world we ourselves are in partial blindness as well. We are having a lot of trouble seeing that the Seed of Abraham is the indwelling Christ. Through Him we have our identity and citizenship in Israel. Even now we are beginning to walk together in harmony with the company of redeemed in the royal Jewish House of Judah. See Galatians 3:29.
Are there consequences to this partial blindness? Yes. We as Christians in the West are not seeing that Jesus/Yeshua is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He is the promised Seed of Abraham, the Shiloh of Genesis 49, the One to whom the scepter belongs. Ad the Son of David our Christ sits upon the Throne of David. And now, as the 1700 year Constantinian Accord is coming to the end of its shelf-life, we are finding out that we are increasingly under the thumb of wicked men. The human hierarchies here below are agents of darkness under the angelic rulers of the rebellion, the principalities and powers ruling over those who walk in the darkness of this world.
So while we may choose to point fingers at national Israel we ourselves in Western Christendom are also ion shaky ground, both spiritually and morally. Even in evangelical circles we now discover that in the spirit of multi-faith and “Coexist” we too are being pushed into spiritual compromise. Then too, in the secular realms we are being manipulated by elitist oligarchs, and technocrats. In its political and cultural compromises Western Christendom is more involved in the conspiracy of the Luciferian Illuminati than we know.
So we need to rethink our judgmental "holier than thou" attitude to our yet to be saved Jewish brethren. Most of those we account as Christian do not yet truly know the Messiah as savior, redeemer, and friend. So, there is no basis for us as Christian believers to turn against Israel or make accusations against them. As we shall discover, the enemies of the royal Jewish House of Judah are our enemies too. We must never surrender to the pressures of the mob, nor offer deals to Amalekites or to known Antisemites in their conspiracy against Israel. Nor should we form an alliance with them or empower them in any way in their hatred of Jews, their attacks on Israel, or in their drive to own the Holy Land.
The powers of darkness are at work in both the Jewish house and the Christian house. They pull the strings of their human charges. They are desperate to shut down the story of the returning Messiah and put a halt to the sharing of info about His end-time agenda.
But notwithstanding all this, the wonderful kingdom of the hearts in Messiah is expanding. God's Plan is to save as many as He can, to redeem a huge company of people who will turn out to be His Chosen Elect. These are the spiritual Children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Joseph. They are a Melo Hagoyim, a multitude out of the nations, saved under the atoning blood of Christ, Israel's Messiah, the promised Seed of Heaven. The scriptures tell of a massive end-time Harvest drawn from every nation, race, and tribe..
There will be a desperate attempt to stop the end-time witness of the saints. This latter day raging of nations against Messiah and against Israel is spoken of in Psalm 2. It will come to fever pitch in times towards the end of the age. Those who are in the company of the Redeemed should not in any way involve ourselves with any of this. If it includes a campaign of hatred against our yet to be saved Jewish brethren we should take no part in it.
We need to remember this. The conspiracy is not just against Jews and against the Land of Israel. It is a broader assault, and also against us as Christians well. Both Jews and Christians bear witness to the coming Messiah. The New World Order, even the Harlot system of multi-faith religious humanism wants that truth to either be compromised or to "go away". So they want us as well as our Jewish brethren to take a back seat. We need to keep that firmly in mind. We are to distance ourselves from any consort with what often ends up manifesting as that heinous spirit of Antisemitism.
And why is that? Because at its root Antisemitism is really an “anti-Throne of David” and an Anti-Christ spirit.
The restoration of Israel in the valley of dry bones is sequential.
The Breath of Life that awakens only comes towards the very end of the saga.
So might it not be reasonable for Christians to withhold judgment, and be patient?
If we look at Ezekiel's vision of the Valley of Dry bones in Ezekiel 37 we see that the restoration of Israel did not get wrapped up and finalized in 1948. The restoration of Israel is not just a political thing. Nor is it a done deal. Not by a long shot. Rather it is a spiritual awakening, becoming manifest in an epic conclusive way in the end-time. This is the unfolding spiritual drama of the Holy One of Israel. This wonder of awakening will work in the hearts to reconcile the two feuding parties. Holy history, as we have known it, will finish up with a blockbuster wave of glory at the consummation of this present evil age.
So, we are wise to be patient here. Those early movements of the dry bones, and the fleshly political activities we see upon those bones may not be too pretty to watch. But can we please hold back on our judgment until God has completed His work?
The bad blood between the two companies has been going on for a long time now. The disposition of each company is well entrenched and nurtured in the traditional views held by the two cultures. The dry bones of Israel have lain in the Valley of decision for a long time. It has been 2946 years now since the break-up. Nevertheless, a lot has happened these past 150 years.
Early political aspirations for a Jewish homeland began to stir in the late 19th Century. The book, "Der Judenstadt", written by Theodore Hertzl, was published in Austria and Germany in 1896. His vision at the time was for a secular state, a return to Eretz Israel for the Jews of the Diaspora.
The 19th Century saw an age of letters and with it a spirited biblical eschatological conversation by British and American evangelicals. They concluded that a Jewish return to the Land of Israel was prophesied to happen and must happen. They were keen to assist them as they returned to the land, and they did do. Biblical Christians were firm in their belief that progressive waves of Alijahs would soon break forth into world history. And as the 20th Century opened that is precisely what happened.
World War 1: The Australian Light Horse take the wells at Beersheba opening up the
way to Jerusalem and Damascus, pushing the Ottoman Turks out of the Levant.
The turmoil of World War 1 brought with it the rattling sound of machine guns. With it came a rattling of the bones as spoken of by Ezekiel in chapter 37. Autumn of 1917 saw the British forces coming up into Israel from the south to press their on attack on the Ottoman Empire in the Middle East. General Allenby launched three attacks on Gaza, all of which failed. Progress had stalled. Mounted infantry of the Australian Light Horse disembarked from Eilat and crossed the desert northwards towards Israel.
It was late in the day on October 31st of 1917 that they arrived within striking distance of Beersheba. Soon after they made their militarily inadvisable full-frontal charge against the howitzers and machine guns of the Turkish defenders. Racing in at full gallop, the Light horse stormed in. They cleared the trenches, dismounted and overcame the Turkish defenders to take the wells at Beersheba. It was a stunning victory and the other adjoining British forces closed in to secure the city.
The Balfour Declaration: After over 19 centuries in the Diaspora
A new hope dawns, - a homeland for the Jewish people.
Scarcely had the cable announcing this victory reached London than the political outworking began to take place. Two days later, on November 2nd, of 1917 Lord Balfour penned that historic document, the Balfour Declaration. A door of hope was now being opened, to the fulfillment of the dream of a homeland for the Jews.
What was not so readily recognized was the fact that biblical prophecy was now opening to Zion. This was not just a political Zion, but a biblical Zion, a spiritual awakening not only for the Jewish House holding the scepter, the Shiloh, the Throne of David, and guardian of the sovereignty of Israel, but also for the other ten tribes not yet in view, even the full family of Abraham, This was the "All Israel" spoken of in Romans 11, a global company drawn from every nation. The end-time events that followed would see the promised Latter Rain Holy Spirit outpouring, and with it a huge international harvest of souls. The consummation of this age would see the return of Messiah, to deliver the captives of Zion, and there at the siege of Armageddon He would cut short the escalating nuclear exchange to "save the planet". The Millennium to come would follow, with His establishment of the coming Kingdom of God here on earth.
With all the terrible and awesome events of World War 2 also came the Holocaust, unprecedented in its infamy and its horror. After the War the Jewish return to the Land resumed in earnest. Sadly, this was opposed by the British, the very people who had made the original promise to provide a homeland to the Jews 30 years earlier.
But the Jewish house was now in the Holy Land, they were in Eretz Israel. The sinews and political muscle came into action upon the dry bones with the Haganah and the Irgun. Finally in 1948 the skin came on to unify and to establish the national sovereignty of the nation that called itself “Israel”.
Yes, in 1948 Israel was beginning to regather as a nation, but unbeknownst to them this regathering was just in part. The Jewish house of Judah was the royal tribe. As we see in Genesis 49, this was the tribe that held the scepter. Inside Judah was the House of David, and therefore the throne and sovereignty of Israel. Out of the House of David had come our Messiah, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. These were the people now leading the way to the regathering in the land.
But, what about the other tribes? Were they in on this big Aliyah gathering after World War 2? No they were not. The ten tribes were not nested inside the Jewish nation. Nor were they taking part in what was a political and national regathering underway at the time. The lost tribes had lost their sovereignty in Israel a long time ago. They had also lost their memory of ever having belonged to Israel. They were party to a mystery yet to be revealed. But strangely, even in their histories going back to the Crusades, Western Christendom was showing a very telling evidence of a deep jealousy. This was the perennial mutual vexation, the outworking of a long forgotten family feud.

The biblical record of a long forgotten, festering Family Feud.
The death of King Solomon came in 932 B.C. And now the great united empire of Israel was in trouble, coming upon hard times economically. It was no longer able to expand outwards in the way it had done before under the earlier reign of King Solomon. The Northern ten tribes were committed to pay tribute to Judah, and for their work parties and to go up to Jerusalem three times a year to prepare for the Feasts. But as is always seen with the decline of great kingdoms the revenues were no longer able to match the huge expenses and obligations.
The court of King Solomon with his 700 wives and 300 concubines was extensive and complicated. The king kept massive arrays of stables of fine horses for his standing army. His huge shipping empire came from his alliances with Tyre, on the Mediterranean coast. His trade routes extended far. All these alliances involved spiritual compromise. His many wives brought in with them the idolatry, and the worship of the strange gods. So, in no small measure the glory of King Solomon's Kingdom was departing.
The time had come for Israel to face facts. The Kingdom under its new king needed to to be realistic. To remain solvent the kingdom needed to pull back from some of the economic expansion and begin selling off or liquidating some of its assets.
But that was not the only challenge being addressed. If this wasn't enough, at that very time the workers party in the ten tribes, under the leadership of Jeroboam, was coming to the king to make a request. They wanted some relief from the heavy tax and the work parties. These heavy burdens had been imposed on them by King Solomon, even as his kingdom was declining. And now, the burdens had become quite onerous. So, as we read in 1Kings chapter 12, the new king, young Rehoboam, went to his advisors asking for direction.
The elders gave the young king some sound advice. Give the people the relief they request, and they will serve you faithfully and well. But Rehoboam then went to seek the advice of his younger friends. Their advice was to not only refuse to give the grace requested. But they were energized to lay down the law and make the burdens heavier.

The outcome of this was quite predictable. The ten tribes cursed the House of David and walked out. It was a simple case of an unacceptably severe tax burden being imposed. This was the great divorce of Israel. After that we saw two kingdoms, the Northern Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom go their own separate ways. The Southern Kingdom of Judah did return to the Land of Israel, under Zerubbabel, Ezra, and Nehemiah. But did the Northern Kingdom of the ten tribes return to the Land?
No. They never did. At least not in any sovereign numbers, or in any meaningful way. History records no such thing. And for our Jewish friends to say that they did return and that the Jewish house we see today are all that there is to Israel is unfortunate. It is a failure to face up to both the facts of history and the spirit of adoption that sees the wild branches grafted back into Israel under the New Covenant.
This continuing schism is an interesting fact of history. If we can see the Law vs. Grace dichotomy then this explains the doctrinal division, the mutual vexation, and the continuing jealousy. Will this ever end? Yes, it most definitely will.
Isaiah 11:13
The envy also of Ephraim shall depart,
and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
The Jewish tribe of Judah with perhaps elements of Levi came into the Land in the name of all Israel and on behalf of all Israel. But they were not the "all Israel" spoken of by Paul in Romans 11, the "all Israel" that will be gloriously reunited at the end of the age.
The Jewish historian Josephus tells us precisely where the ten tribes were in the first Century. And if we care to, we can discover in which direction they were headed. This hidden history has been researched and documented beautifully by Orthodox Jewish author Yair Davidiy. I had the privilege of interviewing him in Jerusalem in 2007. So, the schism between the two houses of Israel was sharp and decisive. And the rift continues today. That terrible Breach of Jeroboam is yet to be healed, and the two parties reconciled. The ten northern tribes, cut off from Jerusalem and the feasts soon went into deep idolatry. They were divorced by God. They then went into captivity under the Assyrians quite early, in 722 B.C..
They never did return to the land of Israel in sovereign numbers. How could they? Under the Old Covenant they were divorced from God. They were done. The prophet Hosea clearly stated the fact of the matter. God had divorced the ten tribes. As Hosea named his two children, the lost House of Israel were under the Old Covenant about to become, “Not my people” and “No Mercy”.
Was there any hope for these rebels? Apparently so. There was this matter of the New Covenant, and with this a new and living Way, a new administration of God's righteous rule and Law along with His ministry of Grace. We read about it in Jeremiah 31:31. There is also an interconnected and forgotten history involved here as well. But that is another story for another time.
May 1948, and the Land of Israel is established and
the Holy Land defended by the royal Jewish House of Judah.
So, in 1948 the other tribes were not there to join the Jewish House and to take part in Israel’s re-settlement in the Holy Land. But nevertheless, evangelicals in the West applauded the event. They saw this as the beginning of the prophetic fulfillment of the promised restoration of all Israel. This was widely referenced in the pages of Bible prophecy.
So it was left to Judah and the Jewish house to do the initial work of physical restoration. The returning Jews were still largely atheistic. So very few had come to recognize Messiah in His First Coming as the Sacrifice Lamb, the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53.. But nevertheless, the Jewish house raised the scepter and the placed in that sacred ground the standard for all Israel, and presumably on behalf of all Israel.
The recognition of the State of Israel in 1948 was a glorious day. President Truman supported the new state of Israel wholeheartedly, although he was a bit surprised that they chose to name the new nation "Israel" for all the 12 tribes. He thought they would name it Judah. As a Baptist, President Truman had a certain love for Israel and he knew what had happened in the Old Testament.
Russia recognized Israel as well. The Soviets thought that the communal kibbutzim were an outworking of international socialism They thought that Israel would turn out to be a socialist state or a communist state like them. But they were wrong.
The nation of Israel has seen many crises since then. Why is there an occult symbol, a hex, no less, on their flag instead of the menorah? The 6 day war in 1967 saw Israel take the Sinai. The Israeli Army crossed the Suez Canal. Why? And why was the American spy ship US Liberty sitting just offshore in international waters spying on events? And why was the ship attacked by Israel? Oh yes, as we shall discover, there is plenty of wicked undercover dealings going on here, in the US. We point our finger at Israel and look. There are three fingers pointing back at us. Before we presume to take the speck out of the Jewish eye we should take the tree trunk out of our own eye. We should forget about sitting in Judgment of Israel and the Jewish house. Here is just one of many stories we could tell.
The collusion and conspiracies, and the combined unsavory deeds involving
both the State of Israel and our current Western superpower, the USA.
The strange case of the 1967 Arab-Israeli war and the attack on the spy ship USS Liberty.
The 60’s were fearful times. The USA and the Soviet Union were locked in the depths of the Cold War. There was the fearful Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. And during the 1967 war the balance of power in the Middle East and the Suez Canal was in a perilous state of mutual brinkmanship. When the war broke out between Israel and Egypt, President Nasser was tilting towards Russia. The U.S. and the West was deathly afraid the Russians would side with Egypt and come down into the Med and with their Egyptian buddy take over control of the Suez Canal. They were bound and determined to see that by hook or by crook this did not happen.
So during the 6 days war a strange event happened. The USS Liberty was a spy ship plying along the coast and listening to radio transmissions. The ship was in international waters and openly flying the U.S. flag. It was attacked and seriously damaged with great loss of life. The attacks were carried out by unmarked planes. This was a plot by both the U.S. and Israel for Israeli planes and torpedo boats to attack and sink the American spy ship. Why? What skullduggery prompted them to even consider such a dastardly deed?
Both of the U.S. and Israel were very fearful of the Russian threat. Between the U.S. and Israel they had a tacit agreement. Israel was to sink The U.S.S. Liberty. The media lapdogs would then be instructed to place the blame on Egypt. It was to be another one of those false flag operations. Apparently the scheme was to provide a pretext to nuke Cairo or at least giving the Russians the belief that they would do so if Russia came into the war on the side of Egypt. If the tide turned against Israel that attack or the threat of that attack would hopefully put a stop to any thought the Russians might have of any dalliance in the region. It would send a strong message to Russia that the U.S. and the West were prepared to play hardball if they were pushed to it.
Here we see the unfolding of a very strange series of events. The angel Michael is usually wonderfully supportive of the Israelis as they fight off their many enemies. But on this occasion he was NOT with the Israelis.
The Israeli planes and torpedo boats made several attacks on the U.S.S Liberty. Mirage fighters strafed the ship and dropped napalm on the decks. There were several attacks by torpedo boats. The Israelis seemed to be less than full-on in their attack. The Israeli pilots and torpedo boat captains kept questioning their superiors about the orders saying they clearly saw the American flag flying on the mast of the ship. They put a torpedo right through the ship. But Michael was also on the side of the US as much as he was on the side of Israel. And so the ship, even though badly damaged, did not sink. The attacks failed to sink her. President Johnson was furious. He got on the phone and said, “I want that G-- D--- ship sunk!”
So as we see, who are we in Western Christendom to turn against Israel and accuse national Israel of sinister acts of intrigue and dirty dealing? Who are we to point the finger and declare that political Zionism is shot through with occult wickedness? Are we, Christian people in the Western nations lily white? Is the pot calling the kettle black here?
The Yom Kippur war in 1973 was a close call. The combined Arab armies attacked on Israel’s high holy day, Yom Kippur. The Israelis were nearly overrun in the Valley of Tears up at the Golan Heights.
Israel is always in a state of crisis. She is hated by the nations and conspired against by their sometimes friends, the U.S led by Jesuit dominated opportunistic latter day Crusaders of Western Christendom. Yes, political Zionism and the shameful things done by the Mossad in secret may be nasty. But as we see in the Zechariah 12 prophecy, the true Spiritual Zionism and the revival that saves our Jewish friends spiritually as well as militarily comes at the end of the age, even as Jerusalem is surrounded by armies.
So at the present time Israel is carnal, divided and feuding, and in a bit of a mess. The full restoration of Israel and all 12 tribes is far from complete. The nation of Israel as we see it today involves mainly the royal Jewish house, (still in unbelief), the Holy City of Jerusalem, and the Land promised by God to the Children of Abraham. We had better not mess with any of these! Saved or not, they are still God's holy people! Nor should we plot to divide God’s Holy Land or God’s Holy City! We should give no appearance of any support to the conspiring raging heathen nations. We know full well that these people will come against God’s Holy City and God’s Holy people in the latter days.
We need to think on this. In times to come the Jews and the Christians will be persecuted together. Those camp meetings will straighten a lot of things out between us! The Jewish house and the other house may still be embroiled in a blood feud going back to the Breach of Jeroboam. But we had better not join the heathen as they mess with either them or us! If we do we shall be in a world of trouble with the God of Israel!
Jewish Israel at the present time; most not yet knowing Messiah as Savior.
That situation also applies to most in Western Christendom as well.
Yes, at the present time the Jewish house in political Zion have still not come to know Messiah as Savior. The Breath of Life has not yet come to those that still lie in the Valley of dry bones. They still await the prophetic word being given and the Breath and Spirit of God that brings the awakening.
So what gives us the right to judge them now? Their time of their salvation and deliverance has not yet come. We must speak the prophetic Word of God, and finally the climax of the age will see this glorious restoration completed. The Man-Child, Christ the Head has already been resurrected. The climax of the age with see His Body resurrected as well, and the birth of the Man-Child completed.
This is no time for Christians to turn against Israel. We must be patient while the bones, sinews and skin are all coming together. We can expect that even in the people of destiny profane politics will prevail until the consummation. Israel in both houses will do things that are worldly, carnal, violent, treacherous, and less than spiritual. We can expect Israel’s Mossad secret service to do things in the flesh just like we see our CIA to do unsavory things. Let us not lose sight of this fact. Right now both companies are in an unholy on and off alliance. Both companies are entangled in the realms of darkness.
Remember Jacob’s wrestling with the Angel? Whether it is Jacob in the Jewish house or Jacob in the Christian house he is still wrestling with the Angel of the Lord, even our Lord Jesus Christ. And there is a dark night of the soul soon to come. At that time the wrestling will increase greatly and finally come to a climax. After that wrestling in the Great Tribulation is over a new day will dawn. Jacob will have undergone an amazing character change. No longer will he be Jacob, the trickster, Jacob the heel-grasper, Jacob the supplanter. Instead he will be Israel, a prince with God, one who has wrestled with God and overcome.
We in Christendom are Jacob too. And recent history bears out that we in the U.S. are in cahoots with national Israel in deeper ways than we know. The USS Liberty story is just one case in point. We in Christendom, Ephraim if you will, are deep into the Illuminati. Both us in Christendom and our friends in the Jewish house are sneaky and seamy in our international dealings. Both Mossad and our CIA carry out targeted assassinations. We do ungodly things in our attempt to possess the gates of our enemies. Both houses conduct their national and international business in dark and sinister ways. And they will continue to pull off their shenanigans until they meet Joseph. Jacob will have to face up to that matter of the Cup of Christ, with Joseph and Benjamin. That matter will finally be settled when Judah make his confession and declares his commitment at that time.
The bottom line is this. The Israel we see clearly in the Jewish house and the Israel still hidden in the mystery, are BOTH still a work in progress. Both are just as tricky as Jacob was in the former times. Jacob is a shyster. Not until he abhors himself and repents of his self-will and his conniving ways will this end. Christians as well as Jews will be repenting big time in the latter days. Not until Jacob finishes his wrestling with the Angel of God will national Israel, all 12 tribes, be truly saved and restored.
The sequential restoration of Israel in the valley of dry bones; our christian impatience with the Jewish house; the eventual triumph at the end of the age as the Spirit of God brings in the restoration of all Israel as a royal priesthood and a holy nation.
Oh yes. The Breath of God will blow in the Valley of Dry bones. The End-Time Revival that Joel saw in Joel 2:28,29,30,31,32 will surely come. At the end of the age the whole House of Israel will revive and stand on their feet. And The Jewish house will look on Him whom they have pierced and mourn for Him as for their Firstborn. And lost Israel along with all their friends drawn from the heathen gentiles out at the ends of the earth will come home to the nation of Israel, the nation to which they belong. Only then will the true Spiritual Zion of God be completed and perfected. The blood feud will end. The dispensational divide will disappear as the morning mist. We shall not see a royal nation (Israel) and a holy priesthood (Church) trucking on into eternity in the divided state we see today. Rather, the Holy Spirit specifically states that the restoration will come in as that unified cross-linked "royal priesthood and holy nation" that Moses and Peter both spoke about.
And how will that end-time triumph come? It will not be by politics nor by military power. Daniel in Daniel 12 was told by the angel Gabriel that during the last 3.5 Biblical years the power and politics of the holy people will be completely shattered. There will be no hope in chariots and horsemen, nor aircraft carriers planes, tanks, or Apache attack helicopters. Political Zionism whether it is energized by Jewish national Zionism or by Crusading Christian Zionism will come to the end of their strength. It will be a bust. The armies gathering in the Valley of Jezreel, Christian or otherwise, will be sown into the ground. That is what the word Jezreel means, “God sows”.
So the victory at the end will finally come. But it will not come in by force of arms. God will share His glory with no-one. The victory will come in precisely the way Zechariah said it would come.
"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord."
