Have a Question
Jonathan, I am having trouble uploading PowerPoints and PDF's of them to the Kirby website. Then too, some of the PowerPoint files are ancient 1997-2003 vintage ppt's. I tried, but they cannot be upgraded to pptx. Anyway, they were primitive early jobs. So they might be best by-passed.
I was pleased to make PDF's of the PowerPoints. And still am. They are like little pictorial books. For those who think visually the PDF's of PowerPoint presentations can be emailed easily. They can tell the story quickly and well. A lot of people like reading comic books.
I will concentrate now on organizing text articles and embedded videos. That is the best way to share a message. That is something I can do, and by God's grace without getting into too much trouble.
Hi Jonathan,
I am having a bit of trouble understanding, organizing, and accessing the upper hierarchy of the articles. Is there a category page or no? How do I arrange the pages up and down the list in a given category when I click on that category, and where is that page to organize the pages in that category to be found?
Also on how to create a page, where to place it correctly, and how to find it. Could you record a slow step by step instructive video to help? I am having trouble with the website hierarchy and what goes where and how.
Perhaps it is just me. But maybe Devin and Christine might benefit from this as well. Otherwise I seem to be making progress. Can you help fill in where I am missing it?
Blessings,
Gavin
Hi Jonathan,
I am starting to get the hang of the categories. However, I am not able to get any more than six articles on the 70 weeks prophecy category. Whenever I put another one in another one drops out. Is there a workaround with this?

Hi Jonathan,
We are making good progress on the Website transfer. I am so glad we have the old website nestled inside the new. A few of the ponderous articles we shall save for last. All the hyperlinks will also takes some time.
I am beginning to embed 10 minute or so audio files from Notebook LM. They are surprisingly good. They follow the logical flows and the narrative of the author, in fact better than my colleagues!
The problem is this. They WERE being downloaded to me as .wav files which I converted to .mp3's in Sound Forge. But now they are giving us the audios in smaller .m4a's. Unfortunately I cant get them to play on the Kirby audio player, which is very basic. It seems that Kirby is fixated on .mp3's, which is understandable because the .mp3 codec came out of Germany. Can we enable Kirby to handle .m4a's somehow? I am having trouble converting the .m4a's to .mp3's
Devin was asking if we can make the spacer a bit smaller. Can we make it the same size as 2 shift-enter moves? I am not using the spacer before and after texts or headings now but sometimes they can be very helpful.
And one more thing of some curiosity. Christine noticed that the article on the lost ten tribes she had finished got lost, (lost with the tribes I guess)! Was it something one of us did? Or was it a glitch in the Kirby works?
